New User Activation Posted by Jeanene (2007/6/12)

Due to a continuing problem with spammers joining the community to circumvent the approval process for comment spam, I've had to revert to requiring new users to activate their accounts via an email system.

This won't affect current members, but in the past there were problems with the activation mail not getting through for a few people that were attempting to sign up.

If you are a new user registering for the first time be sure that your spam filters are set to allow mail from hobgoblin.net. If you still don't receive the activation letter, use the Contact Us form to inquire about manual activation.

Thanks!

"The study of writing, like the study of classical piano, is not practical but aristocratic. If one is born rich, one can easily afford to be an artist; if not, one has to afford one's art by sacrifice."
