Hah. Bridget makes me laugh. I mean, she can be very annoying sometimes as well. Actually, quite a lot of the time.

But it made me chuckle quite a lot of the way through, so it's alright.

Very glad to have finished Playing Away, it did have a nice ending.

Loving Bridget Jones at the moment, though there are moments when she reminds me so strongly of my very disorganised Aunt that I want to shake her

Finally managed to finish Seventh Scroll! lol. It wasn't too bad, easy enough to read, it just wasn't as exciting at his other Egyptian novels.

Am currently (still) reading Playing Away, and I've just started Bridget Jones's Diary, because I have always wanted to read it. So far, brilliant.

I also, at some point, possibly after I've finished these, want to make a start on the Hannibal trilogy. I've bought Hannibal itself, but couldn't get Red Dragon or Silence of the Lambs *grumble grumble*, so I'll have to borrow those and buy them later. I like Harris's style.

Read on!

My own day job is being a cripple, I'm on Social Security. I'm disabled and can't work at a regular job. There are numerous times when I wish that I wasn't disabled and could, because I can think of any number of day jobs that would be more conducive to writing and less interference than the amount of time being sick sucks out of my writing time.

Kitten42 has a new website up with a lot of information: http://www.copywriterinfo.com -- she's been making a great success as a copywriter partly because of her medical background as a pharmacy tech, but also doing things like reviews of wrought iron patio furniture and stuff like that. It's potentially very lucrative but she had to learn how to market her skills.
